We think you’ll agree it’s a ‘Privilege’ to be able to listen to Oskar Smaal’s new release on FXtion Records

‘Privilege’ bounces along nicely with a tempered balance between the piano stabs and perfectly weighted drums. Talking about drums, no one does them quite like Lee Pearce who delivers yet another stand out remix right here. Freckle goes for a more traditional chugger of a House remix with a lovely bleepy breakdown. And for a great finish to this top release, ‘CO2′ also takes the pure House route and does it with the flair of the scene’s brightest and best. Quality assured!!!

Lee Pearce rounds off an accomplished 2016 with his new EP on Fxtion ‘Pull It’

‘Pull It’ and ‘Pump’ are both full of the masterfully crafted signature sound of this artist. You can hear the attention in detail right down to the drums, always a prominent and enjoyable feature of Lee’s tracks.  Overall there’s a definite Tech House leaning to the sounds here. Think premiere labels like Simma Black for an idea of the slick production and captivating synths and beats.

Jimmy Switch gives ‘Pull It’ a tough gritty workout akin to the style of Suara & Lapsus Music. Ben Read is also on board following his own excellent release for Fxtion. His take on ‘Pull It’ is a well rounded aquatic sounding melodic techno sound that completely grabs the attention.
